Genius Collective's debut full release sees a double-A single with
"The Hideout" and "Theory";
"The Hideout" is a Slow paced, blues inspired track featuring the
beautiful vocals of Marika Diamond and guest Trumpet from Willis.
"The Hideout" blends the deep funky bassline with light keys, a
stunning saxophone riff from Alto Smith, and additional vocals from
Genius Collective's producer Vice, offering a mix of neo-soul and
Hip Hop.

"Theory" is an upbeat Soul tinged Hip Hop track aimed to tackle the
eternal issues that musicians face in a tough musical industry.
Combining the incredible vocal talents of Genius Collective's leading
lady Kezia Johnson and Vice, the scratch hook offers a backdrop
for a seriously funky guitar track supplied by Ste Sheldon. With
guest flute from Carvalho (Versify Music), "Theory" sees one of
GC's most successful live tracks converted to a tightly produced,
fast paced tune that really has something to say.

Both tracks are accompanied by versatile, genre spanning remixes
courtesy of Bristol based DJ / Producer Jagos, who offers a seriously
banging D n B infused remix ot “Theory”, & a futuristic Hip Hop remix
of “The Hideout” by Spanish beatmaker Eldoctor Kajota aka Momo.

Genius Collective are a seven piece Hip Hop / Soul / Funk band
based in Birmingham, UK. Established in 2010, GC offer a Jazzy
